Proposal & Quotation Terms
Baseline rules for validity, assumptions, acceptance, pricing and the relationship between a commercial proposal and final scope.
Reviewed 9 August 20261. Validity and change
A proposal or quotation remains valid for the stated period. Pricing and availability may be reviewed after expiry or where scope, timing, assumptions, taxes or third-party costs change before acceptance.
2. Acceptance
Acceptance must occur through the method stated, such as signature, written confirmation, purchase order or required advance. Discussion or receipt of a proposal does not itself create an engagement.
3. Assumptions and exclusions
Commercials rely on stated or reasonably apparent assumptions. The client should identify incorrect assumptions before acceptance. Work not listed as included is excluded unless the proposal clearly indicates otherwise.
4. Priority
A final executed agreement and statement of work prevail over earlier promotional material or informal discussion. The proposal controls the specific commercial scope over general website descriptions.
5. Confidentiality
A proposal may contain confidential pricing, scope and methods intended only for the recipient's evaluation. It must not be distributed beyond authorised advisers or decision-makers without permission, except as legally required.
