Website & Software Services Terms
Service-specific terms for design, development, testing, deployment, integrations, licences, support and change.
Reviewed 9 August 20261. Requirements and specification
Functional, content, design, platform, integration and compatibility requirements must be documented to the level appropriate for the project. Work is assessed against the accepted requirements and identified acceptance criteria.
An estimate based on incomplete requirements may be revised when material complexity becomes visible.
2. Design and content
Included concepts, pages, templates, responsive states and revision rounds are defined in scope. The client supplies accurate content unless content creation is included and remains responsible for final factual approval.
3. Development and compatibility
Responsive compatibility is tested for agreed current browser and device ranges. Identical pixel rendering across every environment is not promised where standards, fonts and devices differ.
Accessibility, performance and security measures are implemented to the specified level and technical context. No internet-facing system can be represented as absolutely secure or permanently error-free.
4. Third-party technology
Domains, hosting, themes, libraries, plugins, APIs, payment systems and external platforms are subject to their own licences, availability and changes. Paid items and renewals are separate unless included.
5. Testing, defects and new features
A defect is a reproducible failure of delivered functionality to meet an agreed requirement. A new feature, changed workflow, altered integration, additional content type or new compatibility target is a change request.
The client must perform acceptance testing within the agreed period and provide reproducible issue details. Fixing an accepted defect does not include unrelated enhancements.
6. Deployment, source and access
Deployment depends on authorised access, compatible infrastructure, DNS, certificates, database and third-party configuration. Source code, repository, build files and credentials are handed over only as specified and after relevant payment.
7. Support, maintenance and backups
Included support addresses the stated period and coverage. Content updates, platform upgrades, security monitoring, licence renewals, backups, restoration and enhancements require ongoing ownership or a maintenance arrangement.
Backup schedules and retention reduce risk but do not eliminate it. Restoration should be tested according to the agreed maintenance responsibility.
